Refund policy

Kitchen Table Consulting – Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Kitchen Table Consulting, we value fairness, transparency, and strong working relationships. Our goal is to ensure every client feels confident when working with us. This policy outlines how refunds and cancellations are handled for all consulting, strategy, and marketing services.


1. Payment Structure

  • Deposits: A deposit of 20–50% is required before work begins. Deposits secure your booking and cover initial preparation or expenses.

  • Balance Payments: Remaining balances are tied to project milestones or completion, as outlined in the client agreement.

  • Retainers: Ongoing services are billed monthly in advance to guarantee availability.


2. Cancellations

  • Before Services Begin:

    • Full refunds are available if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the scheduled start of work.

    • If cancellation is made within 24–48 hours, a partial refund will be issued minus a 10–20% administrative fee.

    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled work are not eligible for a refund.

  • Rescheduling Meetings: Meetings may be rescheduled at any time without penalty.


3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Non-Performance or Clear Breach of Contract: If Kitchen Table Consulting fails to deliver work as agreed, partial or full refunds may be negotiated.

  • Force Majeure: In cases of illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events, we will offer a full refund or reschedule services, whichever the client prefers.

  • Milestones: Payments already tied to completed and accepted milestones are non-refundable.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Completed strategy documents, audits, or digital deliverables once delivered.

  • Dissatisfaction with business outcomes, since services are provided on a “best efforts, no guarantees” basis. Results depend on many factors beyond our control.


4. Refund Request Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of payment or 7 days of receiving deliverables, whichever comes later. Requests outside this window are not eligible.


5. Processing Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 2–7 business days after approval.

  • Certain fees, including deposits, travel costs, and third-party ad spend, are strictly non-refundable.


6. Partial Refunds for Packages

  • For packages or retainers, if only part of the service has been used, we may offer a pro-rated refund at our discretion.

  • This will be negotiated case by case, ensuring fairness for both parties.


7. No Guarantee of Results

While Kitchen Table Consulting is committed to delivering high-quality expertise and actionable strategies, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes (such as increased sales or marketing results). Success depends on a combination of market conditions, client execution, and external factors outside of our control.
